Das Neue Jahr beginnt mit "Rataplan", der neuen Single von Angelo Branduardi
Vierhändig geschrieben zusammen mit Giorgio Faletti (Autor des Textes) und in Italien in Radio-Rotation ab dem 1. Januar 2012.

Rataplan ist der Klang der Trommeln. Es ist ein allegorischer Reim über die Zeit, welche in bestimmten Momenten so schnell vergeht, die das Leben verändert, wie der Ton eines "Rataplan".

"Weil das Leben die Kunst der Begegnungen ist, hat sich auch das komische Paar Branduardi-Faletti wieder gefunden.
Dieser Song hat das typische Muster eines Volkstanzes. In der Tat ist es fast wie ein Reigen, komplett mit "Launeddas", dem ältesten Instrument des Mittelmeerraums (3000 v. Chr.), antiker und exotischer Perkussion (der japanische Taiko), barocker Gitarre und Violine.

"Dato che la vita è l'arte degli incontri, così si è ricostituita la strana coppia Branduardi-Faletti. Questa canzone ha un andamento tipico della danza popolare, anzi si tratta quasi di un ballo tondo, con tanto di "Launeddas", lo strumento più antico dell'area mediterranea (3000 a.C.), percussioni arcaiche ed esotiche (il Taiko giapponese), la chitarra barocca e il violino in evidenza.

Rataplan means the sound of drums, but it is an allegoric verse about the time that goes so fast in certain moments, and makes life change in a while, like the sound of a "rataplan".

"Since life is the art of encounters, it has recovered the odd couple Branduardi-Faletti.
